Jason Weiss

Born in 1955 in New Jersey, USA, Jason Weiss is a writer, editor, and translator. They graduated from the University of California, Berkeley. In the 1980s, they lived in Paris and later earned a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature focusing on Latin literature at New York University in the 1990s. They have taught at institutions including The New School.

Jason Weiss is known for works such as "Conversations with Steve Lacy," interviewing the musician who also recorded on ESP-Disk (Getsuyosha), and "Writing at Risk: Interviews with Exotic Writers in Paris," published by Hosei University Press.
